Introduction

The long cherished dream of Dr Stya Paul (Oct. 4, 1919 – June 7, 2010), Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education, was realised when the idea of Apeejay School, Jalandhar was conceived. The School began in 1968 and since then has been reckoned as the most sought after school in the city.

On its journey towards excellence, the School has grown in size and rank from a very modest co-educational school – with its first batch of just eight students in 1968 to a glorious number of about 4,000 students.

Over the years, the School has witnessed an astounding magnification and has come to be acknowledged as one of the most prestigious schools in Punjab for its pioneering efforts in rendering value-based education and its ability to nurture love for learning.
