Grandson of Dr. Stya Paul, and son of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia & Mr. Vijay Berlia, Mr. Nishant Berlia is a visionary industrialist and the Co-Owner and Director (Family Business Board) of the Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, a global conglomerate with key interests in Education, Pharmaceuticals, and Real Estate.

Carrying forward the prestigious legacy of his grandfather, Dr. Stya Paul, and his parents, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia and Mr. Vijay Berlia, he serves as an office bearer of Apeejay Education and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University.

A dual-alumnus of Stanford University and Harvard Business School, Mr. Berlia spearheads the Group’s Pharmaceutical vertical. Under his leadership, flagship companies like Walter Bushnell, Martin & Harris and ASG Biochem have expanded their footprint across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and emerging African markets.

Recently, in January 2026 he was awarded with the “Visionary Leadership Award” in Pharma at the Business World Pharma Excellence Awards, New Delhi, reflecting his strategic vision, leadership excellence, and continued contribution to advancing the pharmaceutical industry.

He currently serves as the Inaugural Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce, India Working Group on Trade & Investment, Chair, International Committee for the Americas, PHDCCI, Chairman of America and Canada at Assocham and Executive Committee member of OPPI (Organisation of Pharamceutical Producers of India), as he continues to bridge global economic partnerships.
